Baker Petrolite - Baker Petrolite manufactures and markets a full range of functional polyethylene polymers for use in the toner industry. Our world class additives bring significant performance advantages to your toner formulations.
Baker Petrolite - This is a Fischer Tropsch wax produced by shell MDS. This advanced generation polymer has a combination of a high melting point, low viscosity and excellent hardness, providing superior performance in a variety of applications.
Baker Petrolite - Flexible waxes are much less crystalline than either paraffin waxes or hard microcrystalline waxes, due to higher concentration of branched hydrocarbons. These small crystals are interspersed in BARECO microcrystalline waxes, creating a matrix of amorphous domain which plasticize and improve flexibility of the material. This has a melting point of 71 degrees(C).
This has a melting point of 84 degrees(C).
Baker Petrolite - This oxidized polymer is one of the first successful carnauba wax substitutes used in floor polishes. It offers a wide range of properties with a melting point of 189 degrees(F) and has been very successfully applied in various polish formulations.
Baker Petrolite - This oxidized polymer is one of the first successful carnauba wax substitutes used in floor polishes. It offers a wide range of properties with a melting point of 196 degrees(F) and has been very successfully applied in various polish formulations.
Baker Petrolite - This oxidized polymer is one of the first successful carnauba wax substitutes used in floor polishes. It offers a wide range of properties with a melting point of 198 degrees(F) and has been very successfully applied in various polish formulations.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer is soluble in organic solvents at temperatures slightly higher than room temperature. It is used in thermal transfer inks, especially in the back-coats. It is also useful as pigment dispersants in inks and coatings.
Baker Petrolite - This product has a high functionality and is readily dispersible in warm ammonia water. It is used in thermal transfer inks, especially in the back-coats. It also provides outstanding gloss in OPV's.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer has good resistance to solvent swelling and can be used as an external additive in toners.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer has sufficient functionality to be emulsified by melting with an appropriate amount of amine with subsequent addition to hot water. It is used in thermal transfer inks, especially in the back-coats. It is often used as a co-emulsifier for more inert waxes such as paraffin or carnauba, with subsequent incorporation into polishes or coating systems.
Baker Petrolite - Chemically Prepared Toner(CPT) is prepared by synthesis, resulting in controlled particle shape, size and structure. CPT toner particles are 3-5 microns, which makes them more efficient than conventional melt mixed toners because of lower energy fixing, reduced differential gloss, better transparency and lower print cost per page.
Baker Petrolite - Baker Petrolite offers a range of additives that bring significant performance advantages to your toner formulations. When used together, our polyethylene waxes and functional polymers provide enhanced low temperature release previously not available in polyester resin based systems.
Baker Petrolite - This is a 40% solids anionic dispersion in water of Polymekon wax and other ingredients. It was developed to improve handling characteristics in water based coating applications. Two of its applications are in fiberglass sizing and paper coating formulations.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer exhibits superior gelation properties in solvents compared to other chemically modified or oxidized hydrocarbons. This benefit is exploited in paste polish formulations for floors and shoes where a high level of solvent is required.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer is a good to excellent dispersant for carbon black and other pigments. In general, ink formulations that include Petrolite modified polymers at optimum levels will not bleed and may also have improved plasticity, curl resistance and durability. CA-11 polymer is lighter in color and so is typically used in applications where this is an important consideration, such as with colored pigments.
Baker Petrolite - It is often more convenient to apply UNITHOX ethoxylates to industrial systems as water-based dispersions. Solid UNITHOX levels of 10-25% are typically possible. PETROLITE D-1038 has a viscosity of 150 cPs.
Baker Petrolite - It is often more convenient to apply UNITHOX ethoxylates to industrial systems as water-based dispersions. Solid UNITHOX levels of 10-25% are typically possible. PETROLITE D-110 has a viscosity of 30 cPs.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer is a good to excellent dispersant for carbon black and other pigments. In general, ink formulations that include Petrolite modified polymers at optimum levels will not bleed and may also have improved plasticity, curl resistance and durability. WB-17 polymer is an excellent dispersant of carbon black and is used as an additive in hot melt links and toners due to its excellent ability to disperse carbon black in hydrocarbon systems.
Baker Petrolite - This polymer is a good to excellent dispersant for carbon black and other pigments. In general, ink formulations that include Petrolite modified polymers at optimum levels will not bleed and may also have improved plasticity, curl resistance and durability. WB-5 polymer is the highest melting of the three and is used where melting or softening of the formulation during storage is a concern.
