Huntsman Performance Products - Will undergo reaction with isocyanates while preserving the carbamate group. This group may later be reacted with common aminoplasts such as hexamethyl melamine to create a urethane crosslinked system with superior resistance to acid rain, UV radiation, and scratch and mar.
Huntsman Performance Products - An intermediate that is used to introduce primary carbamate linkages into polyacrylate or polyurethane resins. These resins can then be further crosslinked with melamine/formaldehyde or urea/formaldehyde to produce useful coatings compositions.
