A non-ionic, water soluble cellulose ether. While this product is biostable and thus more resistant to enzyme attack compared to ordinary HEC, it is not immune to enzyme attack. It is suggested that biocides be added at the beginning of the formulation process to prevent any micro-organisms from breeding and releasing harmful enzymes.
