Bruce Ianni, Founder and CEO: Bruce is a 15-year veteran in the chemical industry. Prior to founding and leading Chemidex, he spent eight years with Noveon Specialty Chemicals (formerly the BFGoodrich Coatings Division), and held positions including applications chemist and sales representative. His studies focused on organic chemistry at De Paul University and the Illinois Institute of Technology and he holds a B.S. in Business Administration from John Carroll University.
Jim Dodd, President and COO: Jim joined Chemidex in July, 2003 after almost 20 years managing businesses and operations in the technology and telecommunications industries. After a 15 –year career at Sprint where he led two new ventures and several major change initiatives at Sprint Corporation, Jim became COO, then CEO of eGovernment provider NIC Inc. (NASDAQ: “EGOV”). He led the company through an IPO and growth from $8 to $40+ million in revenues. Jim holds a degree in Economics from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard.
Henning Schwinum, Vice President, Global Marketing & Sales: Henning joined Chemidex in June 2002 and initially oversaw the company’s European operations, headquartered in Neuss, Germany. A native of Germany, Henning was previously employed by Bayer AG, Germany, and Bayer Corporation, USA . During his 15-year tenure with Bayer, he held various positions in sales, marketing, supply chain and e-business. In his last role at Bayer, he was responsible for global activities related to the company’s Elemica chemical network.
Matthew Perry, Vice President, Marketing & Sales North America: Matt has more than 12 years of combined experience in formulating chemistry and marketing. As a formulating chemist, he has held positions with Red Spot Paint, based in Evansville, Indiana, and Varnish and Atlas Products, Inc., in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to joining Chemidex in 1999, Matt was technical manager of Becker-Underwood, Inc., a specialty colorant manufacturer located in Ames, Iowa. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry-Business from the University of Evansville, Indiana.
Tim Kelley, Vice President, Operations: Tim brings diverse operations leadership from the United States Navy, as well as the automotive and aerospace communications industries. Prior to joining Chemidex, Tim was a program manager and certified Six-Sigma Black Belt at Northrop Grumman, a $30 billion global defense and technology company. There, he was responsible for the F-22 Raptor communications systems upgrades and led over 25 teams focused on process improvement initiatives focused on electronics manufacturing, subcontractor performance and overall customer satisfaction. Tim holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master’s of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
