The Chemidex Cybrary
Chemidex is the most powerful search engine in the chemical and life science industries, offering specialized information exchange services that connect technical experts at formulated-product manufacturers with technical documents, sales and support personnel at raw material suppliers – at exactly the right moment to save time and money for both parties. Use of the Chemidex cyber-library, (“Cybrary”) dramatically reduces a formulator’s time to locate chemical or food ingredients and simultaneously improves the speed and quality of a supplier’s response to that customer’s requests for information. The Cybrary also provides participating suppliers with timely insights into their prospects’ product development processes, facilitating and potentially shortening the sales process.
The Company’s vision is to transform the product formulation process for scientists, product and business developers in the global chemical industry by combining state-of-the-art Internet, data-base and search technologies with an intimate understanding of the needs of industry professionals. A membership-based service, Chemidex has registered members representing over 5000 industrial and consumer product companies operating in North America, Europe and Asia. The Cybrary is designed specifically to accelerate the formulation processes for member companies, and currently offers specialized search capability for the following categories of our members’ businesses: Adhesives & Sealants Chemidex’s unique technology and service platform will allow it to extend its specialized parametric search capabilities to additional segments of the industrial and consumer products industries over the next several years. Formulator membership in the Chemidex Cybrary is free to chemical formulators with company validation and registration. Supplier membership requires subscription fees for a suite of services including product documentation listings, specialized document search and retrieval capabilities for prospects and customers, sample request processing and utilization of other direct communication services that connect them with potential buyers.
